The story of Mrs. Beatrice
I am Beatrice, born in 1969, daughter of Bakinahe John and Juliette Kibugabuga. Today, I share with you my compelling story, a testament to resilience and transformation, which I like to call “a revival story.” It was a defining moment in 2017 when I found myself standing beside my crumbling house, lacking essential amenities like toilets, clean water, and a functional kitchen. The roof was in a dire state, leaving my daughter, who had become a mother at the young age of 14 and be exposed to the elements, making sleep an elusive luxury.
In the midst of this challenging existence, a ray of hope appeared in the form of Mr Placide UWIRAGIYE, an expert consultant whose arrival marked a turning point in my life. With his extensive knowledge and expertise, Mr UWIRAGIYE embarked on a mission to elevate our living conditions and restore our sense of dignity and comfort.
Mr. UWIRAGIYE’s profound compassion and dedication led to significant transformations in our lives. He diligently oversaw the construction of a stable and secure home, complete with modern amenities that we had only dreamt of before – toilets, a clean water supply, and a fully functional kitchen. This not only improved our physical well-being but also rejuvenated our spirits, instilling a renewed sense of hope and optimism for the future.
Today, I stand as living proof of the profound impact an expert consultant can have. Mr. Placide UWIRAGIYE’s guidance not only improved our living conditions but also empowered us to envision a brighter future filled with possibilities.
My situation was dire, with no means of survival, no land to cultivate, and very little to sustain us. My daughter, granddaughter, and I were living what seemed to be our last days.
However, everything changed after meeting Mr. Placide. The transformation that followed was beyond our wildest dreams. Within just a few months, we found ourselves in a new, beautiful three-bedroom home. The contrast between our past and present circumstances was almost unbelievable.
Mr. Placide’s expertise and support were instrumental in helping us secure a brighter future. With his compassionate guidance, we were able to access resources and opportunities that we never thought possible. His dedication to improving our lives uplifted our spirits and restored our hope for a better tomorrow.
Upon meeting, Mr. Placide, the positive changes in our lives continued to unfold. In just a few months, we found ourselves in a new and improved three-bedroom house, thoughtfully equipped with essential amenities that we had only dreamed of before:
A spacious living room that provided a comfortable gathering space for my family.
New mattresses that ensured restful sleep and comfort at night.
Mosquito nets protect us from disease-carrying insects and ensure peaceful nights.
Mats for a cosy and homely atmosphere in our living spaces.
Blankets and bed sheets that kept us warm during colder nights, promoting better sleep.
Chairs and a table, a simple yet crucial additions that made daily activities more manageable.
A fully functional kitchen that offered the convenience to prepare and enjoy meals together.
Clean toilet facilities that brought a sense of hygiene and dignity to our daily lives.
But the transformation did not stop there. Mr. Placide’s generosity extended even further, as he arranged for the purchase of a plot of land on our behalf. This land became a valuable source of income, providing us with a means of survival and newfound hope for a sustainable future.
The story of Mr. Nkusi
My name is Nkusi Augustin, and I am 58 years old. I was born in the southern province of Rwanda. Throughout my life, I have carried the burden of depression, a feeling that has lingered since 1992 when I made the heart-wrenching decision to leave behind my four-month-old daughter and my beloved wife in search of employment.
After years of being away from my family, I managed to earn enough money from work to build a small house in my village of Nyanza, bringing hope for a joyful reunion with your loved ones. However, as the years went by and I entered retirement, the house fell into disrepair, leading to another separation from my family. The inability to rebuild the house and the limited income I received compounded the sense of loss and despair, leaving me questioning the meaning of life.
It is evident that my experiences have been incredibly challenging, and my struggles with depression have been significant. The weight of being separated from my family and the financial difficulties you faced have undoubtedly taken a toll on my emotional well-being.
The first time I encountered a man with a truly compassionate heart was on a lonely street one night. In a state of hopelessness and hunger, I found myself struggling to survive. This compassionate man approached me and showed genuine interest in understanding my daily life. I felt compelled to share my story, revealing the pain of being separated from my family and the hardships I faced.
He listened attentively, without judgment, and offered me a glimmer of hope. His empathy touched my heart deeply. It was a rare and precious moment where I encountered true human kindness.
The man’s words stayed with me, inspiring me during my darkest days. With determination and support from others who believed in my dream, I eventually had the opportunity to be reunited with my family in my homeland.
This heartwarming encounter taught me the profound impact of compassion. It showed me that even in the depths of despair, there are people who genuinely care and are willing to make a difference.
