Who We Are
Unknown Hand of Mercy (UHM) is a transformative initiative initiated in Rwanda in 2017 by Mr Placide Uwiragiye.
This aims to transform the lives of the most vulnerable people, focusing on those living in abject poverty, without access
to adequate housing, and living a life without hope.
Despite starting with limited resources, UHM’s strong commitment to change has led to remarkable achievements, from
building decent housing for impoverished families to providing life-saving assistance to children from disadvantaged
backgrounds.
UHM seeks to transition into a full-fledged non-governmental organization, reaching an even wider audience of
vulnerable individuals, and positively impacting their lives.
